Welcome to our new website – it has been completely rebuilt, and we hope you like it.

The site includes all our news, activity and comment, and improvements to online facilities like our UAF email list. Have a look round!

We hope the new site will make it easier for you to get involved in UAF, with links to local UAF groups, downloadable campaign materials and an Action Diary of activities and events, along with other new features and sections. We are planning to add more features soon – watch this space!

We are also changing our contact email addresses, so they match our website domain name. Our main contact address is now info@uaf.org.uk – if you have our old address (unite@ucu.org.uk) in your contact list, please update your records.

More developments…

We have been busy campaigning in the elections against the British National Party and mobilising against the racist English Defence League, and with the BNP scoring more than 500,000 votes in the general election, there is no room for complacency.

But we also have increasing numbers of people wanting to get involved. That’s why we are also upgrading and improving our office IT and systems. We want to make sure we’ve got the infrastructure in place to support a growing campaign!

We need your help to make this happen. All our campaigning costs money – and we have printed and distributed millions of election leaflets, as well as organising protests and events around the country. We urgently need funds now to keep up the campaigning, put our new IT systems in place and make sure we can build on our successes.
