Acclaimed photographer and longstanding antifascist and labour movement activist Phil Maxwell has sent us the link to his wonderful collection of photographs documenting 30 years of antifascist struggle in East London.

The slideshow was made for last year’s Black History Month, and shows the proud East London tradition of standing up to racists and fascists – a tradition that we will continue on the unity demonstration against the English Defence League on 20 June.
