The racist thugs of the English Defence League are planning to spread their anti-Muslim racism and violence in major towns and cities this summer.

We need your help to keep up the campaign against them in Bradford, Leicester and Glasgow where they are planning to demonstrate. We want to counter their poisonous message by bringing people together to show unity across our communities in the face of the EDL’s racism and division.

Opposing the EDL and beating back the BNP

UAF has been at the forefront of campaigning against the EDL – we have organised 23 mobilisations against them over the past year including in Dudley, Bolton, Leeds, Swansea, Birmingham and Harrow.

We have also campaigned against the fascist British National Party, printing and distributing millions of leaflets and getting out on the knocker to beat back the Nazis at the elections.

But all this costs money: we have to pay for meeting venues, office facilities, posters, leaflets and placards, staging and PA equipment. Now we need your help to carry on. We have launched an urgent £60,000 appeal – please give what you can. We must keep up the campaign against the racists and fascists!
