National demo against racism, fascism and Islamophobia

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that
good people do nothing.

Over the last few years, we have seen the growth of racism in Britain and across Europe. We have seen racist and fascist parties like the BNP win seats in the European Parliament and poll large numbers of votes in local and national elections.

Worryingly, we have also seen the rise of a right-wing street-fighting movement – the English Defence League and its sister organisations. Their main target is the Muslim community.

The national demonstration and carnival called by Unite Against Fascism and Love Music Hate Racism, and supported by the Muslim Council of Britain and the TUC, is your chance to say no to racism and all forms of discrimination.

It is your chance to tell the BNP they are not welcome in our communities, and to say loud and clear that Islamophobia has no place in our society.

Join the demonstration on 6 November.
