Saturday 6 November: latest demo updates

Thousands of people are set to march through London to parliament on Saturday to show their opposition to racism, fascism and Islamophobia.

The national demonstration is called by UAF and Love Music Hate Racism and backed by the TUC and the Muslim Council of Britain.

There will be a march with music from LMHR musicians pumping out from carnival floats – and there will be more music at the final rally.

Updates

We will have updates throughout the day on our Twitter page. There will also be an extended Twitter feed on the front page of our website.

We are also asking Twitter users who are at the demo to post their tweets tagged with #UAFdemo to help our supporters find them.

Demo details

The march assembles at Malet Street, London WC1 at 12 noon.
