Demonstrate – No to neo-Nazi eugenics at UCL, London

The London Student newspaper revealed this week, which was widely circulated, that a eugenics conference has been taking place at UCL for the last four years.

Speakers and attendees of the conference include neo-Nazis and white supremacists. Many people involved with the conference have been associated with white-nationalist Richard Lynn’s ‘Mankind Quarterly’, whose founders include a leading member of Mussolini’s eugenics task force.

UCL is proudly a place for students and staff from all over the world to study and work together. Hosting this conference has endangered the safety of the campus for students and provided a platform for neo-Nazi ideas.

In response, students at UCL have called a protest at the academic board of UCL’s meeting which takes place, next Wednesday, January 17.  They are ‘demanding an investigation as to how UCL ever hosted this event. Join us to defend diversity and make sure this never happens again. We need to send a positive message of unity in the current context of rising hegemonic racism, and oppose the politics of division spread by Nazis’. Facebook event page, here.

The students deserve the support of all anti fascists. Please circulate this where possible and send any messages of solidarity to  If you can attend on Wednesday, bring trade union/community banners. There should be no platform for such events.
